CAUTION: the BossPrefs app from Cydia intermittently breaks Phone.App so that’s why it isn’t installed.
Essential apps from Cydia:
Winterboard (so I can see Archie in the background
3proxy (for tethering to the MBP for access with no Wifi)
Cycorder (why didn’t Apple think of this one?)
Terminal (’nuff said)

My top 10 iPhone annoyances:
1. Battery life
2. Apps don’t save their login info so reinstall also means reconfigure
3. Keychain ( although replicated by mobileme on Leopard) is not replicated to the iPhone
4. Icon positions cannot be saved
5. Installing songs or apps off the iTunes store directly from the iPhone will not be synced back to [...]
