Getting Things Done – in French

David Allen’s book was finally translated into French and published over here in Paris. The (awkard) French title is “S’Organiser pour Réussir” (LEDUC.S Editions, 2008) and was translated by Michel Édery. I have the sneaking suspicion that Mr. Édery is a Québecois because certain expressions he uses are clearly québecois (“boîte d’entrée” instead of “boîte de réception” for inbox for example) and a little googling proved me right. Other than these colloquialisms, the translation is excellent and for the disorganized (come on guys just admit that it is true, please) French working world, it is a necessary and timely volume. At the FNAC and Virgin for 21,90€.
